7 km southeast of the centre of Split lies the beautiful Riviera. There are lots of scenic places to visit, one of the most attractive being Podstrana - a small tourist town full of Mediterranean ambience and abundant vegetation. It is located not far from Split in central Dalmatia. Podstrana is embellished by dense vegetation and the natural gift of the clean sea. It provides for an ultimate escape from everyday life.
Local and informal restaurants and inns offer the most tasty domestic food specialities. Mild climate makes your stay pleasant even out of season. The hotel Le Méridien Lav which is also very close (200 m), provides entertainment and sportive recreation.
The closeness to Split, which is only 7 km away, makes it possible for you to visit museums, exhibitions and the Split Summer Festival. The nearest airport is 30 km away, while the ferry is just 10 minutes by car.
